Childcare Jobs, in association with the Childcare Directory was established in Greystones in 2006 in response to the growing recruitment demands of the Childcare Industry in Ireland. While the original concept was to provide a top quality service to Childcare providers in the greater Dublin/Wicklow area, the business now has procedures in place to cover assignments throughout the country – details on request.

Since its establishment in 1997, The Childcare Directory Ltd, incorporating Childcare.ie magazine, has developed strong relationships with a large cross section of Government bodies, County Childcare Committees, childcare providers, colleges, parents and industry suppliers throughout Ireland. These relationships have given us valuable insight into every aspect of the Irish Childcare Industry. These relationships coupled with the fact that 75% of our employees have extensive ‘hands-on’ childcare/teaching experience is what makes Childcare Jobs that ‘little bit special’.

Unlike other new recruitment companies that are popping up in our present climate, Childcare Jobs has been established in response to the needs and requirements of our existing clients. We are a specialist niche consultancy – we provide top quality staff for childcare facilities.

We do not recruit nannies, childminders or babysitters - we don’t need to – there are many other excellent companies that are already servicing that aspect of the market.

Our mission is simply to provide the same tailored, dynamic and pro-active approach to the recruitment of Childcare Professionals that other professions already take for granted.
